About the league

Southampton District Tyro League provides football for U11, U12, U13, U14 and U15 age groups.

Calendar

Our seasons generally start on the 1st weekend of September after the schools go back. In 24/25 season the first fixtures are held on September 8th.  County Cup games also commence on this weekend and so some League fixtures may be deferred to accommodate the cup.

The League season officially ends 30 May 2025.

The league will schedule fixtures throughout the season, however, we break for Christmas and Easter and therefore we don't scheduled fixtures for the following dates:

• 22nd December 2024
• 29th December 2024
• 20th April 2025

Formats

At U11 and U12 age groups, we play 9v9 games.  

U13, U14 and U15 games play 11v11 formats

U11 League matches are non-competitive and is considered developmental football.  All other age groups play competitive football.
