Terry Hatch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Hatch on 5th January 2025.

Terry was one of the founding members of Winsor United and a cherished part of the Tyro committee for over 20 years. He served as Fixtures Secretary for the U12 and U13 leagues, often taking calls on Sunday evenings to record scores in the days before the internet and Full-Time.  Later, he became League Treasurer, continuing his invaluable contributions to the league.

Terry’s dedication went beyond administration. He led numerous Tyro REP teams to tournaments in Holland, travelling alongside other long-serving league members, including Les Richie and John Cassell.

His legacy lives on within the League, where the Under 11s have a division that proudly bears his name as a tribute to his unwavering commitment and passion.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Terry’s family and know that the entire Tyro community will share in this loss.
